Salsa Dancing

Tonight I decided since it was my last few days of freedom before my new job begins Monday, I should take advantage of my freedom. So in that spirit I drove “all the way” to San Jose, a whopping 40 miles. To people who live here in the Bay area that’s like driving to the end of the world. If you grow up in the DC area that’s a normal commute in and out of the city.

So I drove down to SJ and met with my friend Crystal for dinner before salsa dancing. We hit a Korean chicken place next door to where she had just finished having a manicure. I’m not a fried chicken fan (at all), but it wasn’t that bad. I’m sure its as good as you can get for fried chicken. It just reminds me too much of southern cooking, which I’m not a fan of.

From there we went to Mountain View to Antonio’s where Thursday night is salsa dancing night. Sorry no pictures, guess if you want to see me salsa you’ll have to come sometime. I’m no expert, but all of those years of dancing helps. I think I’m going to take a few classes, I’ll be a pro in no time.

After Antonio’s, we went to visit our friend Susan for a bit before we decided to call it a night. I don’t have to work tomorrow but Crystal does.

Also, for all of you would-be-stalkers or tech fiends, I added Twitter today. So if you are a Twitter-er, you can find me and my updates under Jenner8675309. Go ahead. You know you want to. Also, yes the photos are true, I wore a live flower in my hair tonight in honor of salsa dancing. I got quite a few compliments on it. I just plucked a flower from the bouquet I bought at the farmer’s market on Tuesday and stuck it behind my ear. I still don’t know what kind of flower it is. So here are two photos, can someone please identify what on earth I bought and what I wore this evening.
